Standard Terms & Conditions of Sale
- All prices are in Pounds Sterling and exclude VAT.
- Minimum Order value is £150.00 at trade prices.
- Orders over £375.00 at trade prices will be delivered carriage free for mainland UK destinations. A postage & packing charge of £11.99 will apply to all orders below £375.00 at trade prices for mainland UK destinations.
- Carriage to Northern Ireland is charged at £20.00 for orders below the carriage free amount of £450.00 at trade prices.
- Carriage to Eire is charged at £30.00 for orders below the carriage free amount of £750.00.
- Carriage to UK offshore islands will be quoted on receipt of order.
- All other Export orders are conducted on a pro-forma, ex-works basis. Quotations are available on receipt of enquiry/order.
- Account applications for UK customers for subsequent orders will be considered when two trade references and bank details have been provided.
- Payment terms are strictly 30 days from invoice date. We reserve the right to charge 1.5% interest per month on all overdue accounts. Payment can be made by cheque, BACS, debit card or credit card.
- Deliveries: Notification of shortages/damages must be made to us within 3 days of delivery, non-arrival of goods within 21 days of invoice date. No claim will be valid or credit due unless the above is adhered to.
- No returns accepted without written authorisation. Any agreed returns will be subject to a 20% handling charge (our errors or omissions excepted) and the customer is responsible for return carriage costs.
- Goods supplied under any order by Stewart Ross (Distributors) Ltd remain the property of Stewart Ross (Distributors) Ltd until the account is paid in full.
- We reserve the right to part despatch orders when stock is unavailable and to withhold delivery of the remaining balance or any other order if any part of the customer’s account is overdue for settlement.
- The above terms & conditions become legally binding on acceptance of above order and/or delivery of goods.
- Customer information will be stored by us & credit information may be shared for monitoring and administration purposes with our representative body The GA and with other members of the GA.
